Someone once asked us if we ever don’t work when we go on holiday. As Charles Burnand morphed out of an opportunity given to me by my parents I have never considered it to be really work and when on holiday if I see things I would like to buy for the shop I don’t think of it as work – it’s all play!
A stressful day at Shoreditch House trying to do the business plan was gladly interrupted by a group celebrating an anniversary. Little did we realise beforehand that we would meet Ricardo, owner of the most amazing guesthouse and guru of all things stylish and sophisticated in Italy. A couple of months later we are at said hostellerie, being introduced to a procession of (unknown to us at the time) future suppliers and friends. If you want to know more, you will need to visit the store!
A rather squeeky 1960s chair will get a make over soon – but we can see the potential!
Sabrina Landini (sabrinalandini.it) is an amazing creator of the most beautiful lighting and mirrors. If only I could find others who had an ounce of her artistic ability!
