I’m not sure whether doing something for the second time is better than the first. The unknown entity that was Christmas 2011 was a great success and showed off Charles Burnand in all it’s finest – how could we top it this year? Would people care? Most retailers seem to be playing it safe, worried about the state of the economy – bah humbug we say. Bring out the sparkle and load up the fire with bioethanol! At least we can try to offset the complete unnecessary-ness of Christmas over-indulgence with a little sustainably sourced heating!
It looks like the iPhone has over indulged as well, looking at the blurriness of this photo. Sadly this is the only one I have.
If others are going safe, we will go traditional, or art deco. Fortunately with two windows we can do both.
As with most people, we can have one day off. Food mainly courtesy of Ottolenghi, wine courtesy of Sainsbury’s discount card. We had to save some money somehow!
