Our ‘Official’ Press Launch

What a difference a year makes…… Anticipating that our clients would be jetting off for the summer and Marylebone would become a tourist mecca for July and August (well at least that’s what happened last year) we decided to take a summer recess mid-august – also to recharge the batteries ahead of the season in September.

Flying back from our spiritual Italian home into a typical rain-drenched UK on the August bank holiday certainly brought us back to earth with a bump and jolted us into action for the forthcoming London Design Festival.

All guns blazing we rocketed into action with our PR agency, Wiles & Thorne, to organise our inaugural press launch. Launch with a soft L as we have been open for a year but with our new collection just in from the four corners of UK, Italy and Sweden it was perfect timing to unleash ourselves to the media and let them lap up our wares.

Quality not quantity is our mantra however we were blessed with both. Excellent planning from Andrew and Sue made sure we had a steady stream rather than influx throughout the day and into the evening. It is probably easier to say who didn’t come than who did. You can see from the image a selection of our special visitors. All we need to do now is see whether they liked what they saw – the initial feedback and lengthy interviews would suggest they did!
